I am cur­rently look­ing for a place to stay here in Stock­holm and as such I have put up ads here and there. One of the things to be vary of here in “Scandinavia’s Cap­i­tal” are the rentscam­mers. These are peo­ple that try to get you to trans­fer money into their accounts before you even get to see the apart­ment.
The fact that they don’t seem to mind me set­ting up a “tor­ture­cave” in their apart­ment is also a dead give-away.

This guy con­tacted me the day before yes­ter­day and pro­ceded to chat with me through the gmail chat.

Like I men­tioned in my pre­vi­ous post, I am cur­rently look­ing for an apart­ment. A lot of scam­mers con­tact you when you are in this process, and they are fairly eas­ily spot­ted.
The fact that this one doesn’t mind me set­ting up a tor­ture­cave in his flat gives him away…

Fairly few apart­ments in Nor­rmalm that include caves, I’m a pretty lucky guy.
